Treze and the Dandelion
Treze lives in a grassy area where there are many trees but not too many so that there’s plenty of sunlight. There are many different tribes. Treze’s tribe is the Ting tribe. Treze loves her tribe and her house. Her backyard is covered in sunlight and the sun sets behind her house. She has the finest oak bark furniture. Her favorite part of her house is her room. She has one of the best flower beds and she loves to rest there. She has a secret. When she was younger she got the C.P disease. That means she was bitten by a caterpillar and around the bite, part of her leaf died, which is bad because the middle layer of the leaf makes food. Treze is ashamed of the bite and is determined to find the cure.
“Leafer! Leafer!” Treze shouts as she dashes across the street to her best friend Leafer’s house. “I think I’ve found the cure!”
“The cure for what?” Leafer asked.
“ The cure for C.P!” Treze answered out of breath.
“Well what is it then?” Leafer asked
“The pollen of a yellow dandelion,” Treze answered.
“Oh no! Its fall and there's no more yellow dandelions!”
“Yes there is.” Treze says quietly. “There’s one in Dandi Park and since there’s no butterflies or moths Ieft to fly there, I’m walking.”
“WHAT! That could take months, even years unless you go through Venus Field Jungle. Wait. You're going through Venes Field Jungle, aren't you?” Leafer said concerned.
“Yep. I’m am. I'll be fine though I'm bringing my rose thorn sword.” Treze said confidently.
“Ok, Ok those will keep you safe from the venus fly traps but what about the trees? They will block your leaves so they can’t get the sunlight,” Leafer said very worried.
“I heard there's clearings in the trees around bodies of water. I’m planning to root there so I can get the nutrients from the soil. I have to go bye.”
“Ok what have I packed?” Treze said to herself. “I have a bag of super nutrition soil, a bag of moist soil, elephant ear boat. I think that's everything. Wait! I need something to put the pollen in. Now I’m ready. I should probably leave a note for leafer:
Dear Leafer,
I’m leaving I’ll be back 100% by Bloom day. Hopefully I’ll
be back by leafmas. I’ll send you postcards. Byyee!!!
-Treze
Treeze left at about 6:00am and the sun hadn’t risen yet. Treze was absolutely exhausted but her goal was to get to the jungle before sun down. Treze was just about to sit down when she heard yelling.
“Treze! Treze!” It was leafer running her way, no riding her way.
“Treze I got your letter and I’m coming with you. Plus I carved these round things, put a hole in them, stuck a stick in the hole and attached a piece of bark to it. I call it the barkmobile. We use sticks to push it,” Leafer said quickly.
“Well let's head to the jungle.” Treze said.
When they got to the jungle it was noon so they decided to stay and rest and spend tomorrow in the jungle
“Hey leafer, do you want lunch?” Treze asked.
“Yeah ok.” Leafer answered.
“Find somewhere to root so your roots will collect nutrients from the soil.” Frieze instructed him.
The next day Leafer and Treze headed into the jungle. It took them hours and hours of fighting through bushes with thorns that protect them from predators and cutting down venus fly traps but they finally made it to the other side.
“Leafer we made it! We made it! Where’s the dandelion?” Treze said almost screaming.
After half an hour of searching they couldn’t find the dandelion anywhere. They were just about to give up when Treze fell and uncovered the dandelion.
“Leafer! Leafer! I found it!” Treze screamed.
Treze came home healed, happy and a famous adventurer.
