A SMALL JOURNEY
“You'll find water,” exclaimed a small ivy.
Rose, a small proactive Wild rose, was listening attentively. Rose uses her leaves to create food through photosynthesis but her leaves are starting to rot.
California. It's been in a drought since June and it’s mid august. Well Rose’s light maroon buds have not bloomed yet.So she needs water, right? Getting her buds to bloom was a must for flowers. The flowers allow the plant to reproduce.
“I’ll go east,” exclaimed Rose.
So Rose set off east. Rose soon came to a rock wall with jagged rocks that seemed to almost float in the air. Rose could feel the moisture in the air. She knew water was near
“This is going to be harder than I thought,” Exclaimed Rose. As Rose scanned the area she noticed a opening in the rock wall. Rose began to walk towards the rock wall she noticed an river on the other side of the rock wall. To be exact it was a fairly large river.
As Rose started to drink her stem got to work by taking in the water through tiny tubes in her stem.
“I should bring water back to the village”. Yelled Rose. She started to grab bag leaves and water vines.she filled the leaves with water and tied them off with a water vine. The ground near the river was rich in minerals.Rose’s roots were busy taking in the minerals.
”Now the boat”
Rose was a fast worker so she finished the boat quickly. After about a day of sailing Rose arrived back at the small town.
“I have water” yelled Rose.
“Rose you’re blossom bloomed” yelled a ivy. An elegant maroon Rose sat on top of Rose’s head. Now that Rose’s buds had bloomed her petals could attract bees to help spread pollen and seeds.
The town was so thankful for Rose’s saving the town from the Drought they threw her a beautiful party with elegant maroon decor and drinks made with the water she brought them
“Thank you Rose’’ yelled the mayor.
Rose was so happy she became a full fledged wild Rose.
Well this is where this story comes to an end. Maybe, just maybe this is just the beginning of a ADVENTURE!
