The class then did a Cloze activity with the synopsis of Rusalka, filling in the blanks as Mrs. Johnson read aloud. She made aware that they would be going over the story most every day so that when they watched the Opera in the theater they would be able to follow along. Since the Opera was written in a different language. At the end of the Lesson the students were quested with the activity of looking around them after they leave school and see how much Opera influences the world around them.

The process of writing an opera was harder than I thought but I knew more than thought I knew. The most difficult part of writing the opera was trying to figure out where the music would fit and how long it should be. If we were to write and preform a opera again I would Change the transitions and the script because I felt like we needed more work on transitions and we needed to add more to the script and be more expressive. My favorite part of the groups preformance was the trio even thought I wasn't In it .
